PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Plus

This is the ultimate advanced diver program, consisting of 14 dives. Are you ready to take your diving adventure to the next level? Take the plunge to 30m, learn how to navigate underwater, as well as many other skills in our Advanced Open Water Diver Plus course!

Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Plus course will help you to progress from an amateur diver to a seasoned diver in no time. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take this course, that’s where we come in! Our enthusiastic team of instructors will help you gain more experience, confidence and help you to advance your diving skills. You will improve your skills by completing dives in the following areas:

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy / Dive Skill preassessment
  • Underwater Navigation
  • Search & Recovery Diving
  • Deep Diving
  • Boat Diving
  • Enriched Air / Nitrox Diving
  • Night Diving

The course is broken up into 2 parts, so you can do it as slowly as you like, or you can smash it out in a few weekends. Either way, we have flexible booking arrangements to help you organise something that suits your schedule!

Part One follows our traditional PADI Advanced Open Water course format, where you will complete your PPB Dive/Preassessment Dive, an Underwater Navigation Dive, Search and Recovery Dive and 2 x Deep Boat dives. This helps set a foundation for the rest of your program. Upon successful completion of Part One, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.

Part Two contains an additional 2x Underwater Navigations Dives, 3x Search and Recovery Dives, 2x Deep Boat Dives (this time using Enriched Air Nitrox) and 3x Night Dives. These dives occur over 3 weekends, these can be consecutive or spread out to suit your schedule. The Night dives have to be scheduled with the tides and the available dates will be sent to you upon registration of the course.

Upon completion of our Advanced Open Water Diver Plus program you will receive the following:

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification
  • PADI Deep Diver Speciality Certification and Statement of Attainment
