PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

Are you ready to take your adventure to the next level? Take the plunge to 30m.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course will help you to progress from amateur to a seasoned diver in no time. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take this course. That’s where we come in. Our enthusiastic instructors will help you gain more experience, confidence and advance your diving skills through the following Adventure Dives:

  • Underwater Navigation Dive
  • Search & Recovery Dive
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
  • Deep Dive
  • Boat Dive

Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver courses are run every fortnight.

Day 1 – On the Thursday evening immediately prior to your course we will meet at the dive centre at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start where we will go through a quick knowledge development session and logistics for the weekend.

Day 2 – After meeting at our dive centre, students will reconnect down at Jack Evans Boat Harbour at Tweed Heads, just off Coral Street, in the carpark beside the jetty. Please click the following map for directions.

Day 3 – Your Instructor will provide you with departure details on the afternoon of Day 1

Diving with Nitrox/Enriched Air gives you more no decompression time, which is especially beneficial for repetitive diving. If staying down longer and getting back in the water quicker between dives sounds appealing, then check out our PADI NITROX/ENRICHED AIR DIVER ADD-ON.

Prerequisites:

  • Be at least 12 years of age
  • Hold at least a PADI Open Water Diver certification (including Junior) or equivalent

When you sign up with us, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing more information and the finer details of your course including, the Thursday evening orientation 6pm the Thursday immediately prior to your course date. You will also receive your PADI Digital Manual Access Pass email 24-48 hours after your booking has been processed. The theory portion of this course takes place in your own time, working through the relevant sections in the PADI Digital Manual before your course.

  • Hat, Swimwear, Towel & Sunscreen
  • Water & Snacks
  • Lunch (bring plenty of snack type food, especially on day 1)
  • Scuba Equipment (BCD, Regulators, Computer, Compass, Wetsuit) – can be hired at an additional cost
  • Personal Snorkelling Equipment (Mask, Snorkel, Open-Heeled Fins & Boots) *

* Personal snorkelling equipment can be purchased in-store with an exclusive 15% discount for our students and a 100% fit guarantee.
