Mick Wheatley - Brisbane's only PADI Course Director
Mick is one of the owners of Brisbane Dive Academy, Mick learned to dive in 1995 and by February 1998 was a certified PADI Divemaster, exactly 3 months later Mick passed his Instructor Examination and was a PADI Instructor. Having taught hundreds of divers at all levels Mick is an accomplished PADI Course Director, PADI Tec Rec Instructor Trainer, Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer, the regions only PADI Sidemount Instructor Trainer and and Tec Rec Trimix diver. Mick has been recognised by PADI for excellence in the manner in which he delivers diver training.
Mick is an experienced regulator technician with over 14 years experience on most makes and models, Mick also delivers Nationally recognised courses in Training and Assessment (Certificate IV TAA), First Aid and Administering Oxygen in an Emergency situation.
Mary Wheatley - PADI Assistant Instructor
Mary is the beautiful wife of Mick and as a certified PADI Divemaster Mary assists the Brisbane Dive Academy Instructors in delivering the best training in South East Queensland.
Mary is currently completing her Assistant Instructor training to increase her level of professional knowledge and skills.

Volkan Coskun - PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Volkan is an avid diver who moonlights as an evil student on Instructor Development Courses where he has earned himself the nickname "Superman".
Volkan is working his way towards his Master Scuba Diver Trainer Rating which he will hopefully attain before the end of the year and after that IDC Staff Instructor.
Samone Brewer - PADI IDC Staff Instructor
Samone has come back to teaching after a break of a few years after having a couple of beautiful children. Samone's passion and commitment to her students has made her a very valuable part of the Brisbane Dive Academy team.
Alistair Keenan - PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Alistair has quickly developed a passion for diving and after only having been a diver for a few years has climbed the ranks to become a PADI Divemaster, PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor and EFR Instructor.
Alistair recently completed the transition to PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor after successfully completing the PADI IDC with us. Alistair has already started on his way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
Ali Alkhoor - PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Ali is a passionate diver who loves sharing his passion, Ali's enthusiasm for diving is reflected in each of the divers he comes across.
John Gransbury - PADI IDC Staff Instructor
John lives to dive, John developed a passion for scuba diving when learning with his family, while living and working in Hawaii John discovered that he wanted to do more with diving and he became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and started climbing the PADI ladder.
John joined us as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and worked his way up to IDC Staff Instructor. His next step PADI Master Instructor
