The PADI Open Water Diver Course or the PADI course as it has been come to be called is the first step in learning to scuba dive safely. PADI and Brisbane Dive Academy go to great lengths to ensure that new divers find diving safe and fun.
All of our learn to dive courses utilise the PADI eLearning portal enabling us to better work in with your busy schedule. How eLearning works, you sign up for a course with us and within 24 hours we email you your eLearning link and password. Now your ready to get started!! When we contact you to give you your access details we will book in your face to face weekend so that you have a goal to achieve.

LEARN TO DIVE 2 DAY COURSE
Our 2 day course is the only 2 day PADI Open Water Diver course in Brisbane. This course has been specifically developed to make the most of the small gaps in our busy lives. The best part of this course is the fact that there are a maximum of 4 students on any of our, learn to dive courses. This ensures that you get all the attention that you need.
How the course runs, you click on the link at the bottom of this page and sign up for this course, we then send you an access pass to the PADI eLearning portal, you then login and complete the knowledge development portion of the course online in the comfort of your own home when you can spare the time.
Your 2 days face to face training cover all of the in water skill development sessions as well as a review of the knowledge development materials that you have already mastered at home.

- Dive to a depth of 18m anywhere in the world
- Dive with just you and your buddy (restrictions apply to Junior Open Water Divers)

Extras
- *Workplace Health and Safety recommend that each diver has his or her own snorkelling equipment for your comfort and hygiene. We have some great snorkelling equipment packages but we also have some available for hire at additional cost of $80.
- AS4005.1 Dive Medical - payable direct to the doctor at the time of your appointment ($60-$150). Click here for a list of doctors we know that do dive medicals
Important Information
• Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.
• The minimum age to participate in this course is 12. There is no maximum age.
• It is a course requirement that you be able to swim 200 metres and tread water/float for 10 minutes.
Flying After Diving: We recommend that you do not fly for at least 24 hours after your last dive.
